Smooth, white, and delightful to use! We’re pleased to be able to offer these luscious pads. Professionally made for us right here in Nashua, they’re the same fine pads I use for testing pens in my studio and at pen shows. Our printer isn’t a pen collector, but he does understand our passion, and he spent time researching and helping us to select and test a wonderful smooth high-brightness premium paper that is produced, he tells us, by the last family-owned paper mill in the U. S. A. This brilliant white uncoated paper has just the right surface quality to make writing a pleasure — and because it’s not coated, it can’t clog your pens with clay or chalk. Your pens will glide like newly sharpened skates on fresh ice — and the paper is also remarkably resistant to bleeding and feathering, even when you use a flex nib!
Have it your way! These pads are available printed with photos of fountain pens or, for second sheets, plain (available in two sizes). The photo pads are commercially printed on a high-speed Heidelberg press; unlike pads printed in short runs on thermal wax or inkjet printers, they let you write right over the designs with no worries about skipping pens or blurred artwork.
Each pad contains 50 sheets. Pads are note size (51/4"×81/2") to fit into a standard A5 pad folio . The printed pads have six great pen photos — and they’re bright, crisp high-resolution photos, not low-resolution copies from our Web site. Shown here are reduced-quality versions of the six different pen photos:
Conklin’s Endura, Lapis Lazuli, c. 1927 |
Parker “51”, Nassau Green, GF cap, 1940s |
