If you've been looking for this elegant capless pen at a bargain price, now's your chance. The Fermo prices you see on our Namiki/Pilot page are the lowest prices we can show. Put a Fermo in your shopping basket to see what you’ll actu- ally pay! http://www.richardspens.com/?pens=nam+fermo ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *** New Cigar Box Pen Chests! *** ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Once again Don rolls out a new selection of his great repurposed Spanish cedar cigar box pen chests. These are an economical -- and very cool -- way to store your pens. If you're a dedicated cigar smoker, you could even use a couple of these boxes to hide your moet valuable pens in your humidor! http://www.richardspens.com/?acc=dons_boxes ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *** You Can Still Go Postal in a Nice Way! *** ------------------------------------------------------------------------ We still have a good stock of most versions of the New Postal Pen. But it's been drawing rave reviews, and our current stock -- especially the great transparent-barrelled orange "Big Red" version -- won't last until the cows come home. Go Postal now, before somebody raises the postage! http://www.richardspens.com/?pens=gct ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *** It's No-Show Time! *** ------------------------------------------------------------------------ For the next two months, we have no pen shows to go to. (If you've been wondering about New York City in October, we're sorry, but we aren't going to make it to Gotham this year. Our next show will be the Ohio Pen Show, in November.) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *** Speaking of Schedules... *** ------------------------------------------------------------------------ You can always find out what shows we plan to attend over the next few months by visiting our show calendar page: http://www.richardspens.com/?info=shows ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *** Go International with Bexley's Newest! *** ------------------------------------------------------------------------ If you've been mooning over Bexley's elegant Imperial -- and singing along with Fats Waller ("Man oh man, them things is toooo big!") -- you are in luck. We now have the new Imperial International! At 5-1/2" long, the International has the same smooth cigar shape that your hands will love to fondle, but it's smaller all over. Fitted with the excellent steel nib that's appeared in Bexley's other recent pens, this is a writer's writer, a pen you can really enjoy. Check it out on our Bexley page: http://www.richardspens.com/?pens=bex+international ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *** Merlin Was Magic, But The Supply of Merlin Pens Isn't! *** ------------------------------------------------------------------------ We bought a finite number of Merlins about a year ago, and the supply is coming to an end. If you've been holding off on buying a Merlin 33 or Merlina, the end of the Universe is drawing uncomfortably close. We have no more Merlin 33s left -- they're all gone. Don't miss out on a Merlina -- snag yours while you still can! http://www.richardspens.com/?pens=mer ------------------------------------------------------------------------ "Broad Strokes" by Richard Binder ------------------------------------------------------------------------ In the first quarter of 1921, a group of investors founded the Dunn-Pen Company, Inc., in New York City. The founders were members of the Dudley Sales Organization, a New York venture capital group, and didn't include Charles Dunn. But the pens rock. http://www.richardspens.com/?prof=dunn ------------------------------------------------------------------------ "Extra Fine Points" by Don Fluckinger ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Don hit the D.C. Pen SuperShow and ran into Scott Franklin of Franklin- Cristoph and (literally) was sold on his fountain pens. What would Don's column be without an exclusive scoop regarding future plans? http://www.richardspens.com/?xf=1009 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *** Our Monthly Pen Show Tray Isn't Our Only Tray This Month! *** ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Our regular monthly Pen Show Tray offers a bounty of cool pens, as always, and you can find them here: http://www.richardspens.com/?pens=vint But there's more. For September we have a SPECTACULAR consignment tray loaded with truly exciting pens, including a raft of first year Parker "51"s that you really don't want to miss. Don't lose out on these great pens -- we've priced them very aggressively because we really want to sell them! http://www.richardspens.com/?pens=spl ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *** Pens That Write Right! *** ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Unless otherwise requested at the time of sale, we tune each new pen or nib at no extra charge before shipment. We fill the pen with Waterman Blue-Black ink and write with it on paper from the same fountain pen friendly pads we sell, adjusting as necessary to bring it up to the RichardsPens.com "factory" standard for smoothness and flow. If you order a new pen with a customized nib, I will modify the nib (for an extra charge) and ship the pen immediately instead of putting it into my regular queue. Remember, we are authorized retailers for Aurora, Bexley, Classic Pens Inc., Namiki and Pilot, and Pelikan. We don't always have a complete line up on the site, but we can get anything our manufacturers offer -- if you don't see it, just ask! ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *** Subscribe to our RSS Feed *** ------------------------------------------------------------------------ RSS means Really Simple Syndication.
