Esterbrook, with its “Renew-Point” design, was perhaps the most successful vintage American producer of interchangeable nibs. Esterbrrok’s Renew-Point nib was pressed, together with its matching feed, into a threaded collar that screwed into the pen’s section. The standard Renew-Point was the Duracrome series. Production of 9000-series Master Series nibs began in 1940; these nibs were tipped with osmiridium and provided better performance and durability than the standard nibs.
This page shows the Renew-Point nibs that we have for sale. Most of these nibs are New Old Stock (NOS); some are still in boxes. I have reconditioned any nibs that are not NOS so that they will write as well as, or better than, new.
This page reflects our entire stock of Renew-Point nibs. We do not have any nibs that are not shown here.
